Foreperson
ASAP
The Operator will work directly for the Foreperson on a day-to-day basis to provide routine/non-routine summer and winter highway maintenance operations/activities.
- Carrying out all assigned routine/non-routine summer and winter highway maintenance operations/activities undertaken from the assigned Patrol Centre. Work assignments will include shift work as a member of the Maintenance Crew.
- Maintenance operations performed will include activities such as traffic control, emergency responses, highway surface maintenance, right-of-way maintenance (fence repair, litter pick-up, grass cutting, shrub/tree maintenance, embankment repair, etc.), highway patrolling, shoulder maintenance/grading, plowing, sanding/salting, drainage maintenance, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Alberta Class 3 Driver’s Licence with an air brake endorsement as a minimum
- Experience in Provincial and/or Municipal Highway Maintenance or related field is preferred
