Reports to: The Project Manager, based in the office or in a field office environment.
Duties include: Assisting the Project Manager/Project Superintendent with overall administration on one large or several smaller projects including administration of contracts including management of Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Contract Change Orders, Head Contract and Shop Drawing Control, expediting materials to site, Scopes of Works - define & monitor.
Essential Skills Include: Estimating, Scheduling & Planning, ability to read Blueprints & Specifications, Quantity Surveying, Administration of the Change Process, Forecasting, Management of Subtrades, Liaise with Architects & Engineers, Information Logs/Status Reports, Working Knowledge of Computers and Essential Computer Programs, Safety Practices etc. and a good command of the English language. An ideal candidate will have experience in working on large scale ICI construction projects.
